Michel Ancel, the creator of franchises such as Rayman and Beyond Good and Evil, has announced his retirement from the video games industry in an Instagram post today, while reassuring players that the projects under his command, being WiLD and Beyond Good and Evil 2, are progressing smoothly.
It reads as follows:

Many of you might want to know what will happen to Wild and BGE2. No worries, since many months now the teams are autonomous and the projects are going super well. Beautiful things to be seen soon.
