As rumors about a sequel to 2019s detective-themed Yakuza spin-off Judgment have been stirring up for the past few months, including SEGA filing a trademark for “LOST JUDGMENT“, as spotted by Gematsu. SEGA’s RGG Studio announced “JUDGMENT DAY” this morning, which appears to be a live-stream happening on May 7th.
On their Twitter this morning, they posted a teaser for “JUDGMENT DAY”, alongside a giveaway for a $40 Amazon voucher, just enough to buy the recently released remaster of Judgment for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia.
Some fans who have entered the giveaway were greeted with clips for scenes that never appeared in the original Judgment, hinting at the fact that the upcoming May 7th announcement is indeed a sequel.
