Overwatch: a vampire Support, a new map, and Season 5
Season 5 introduces Doctrine, a life-draining Support who heals with bat-like drones. He is in a limited hero trial at the show and from home right now, then joins the roster with the season. Sombra and Roadhog are getting large reworks. A new map, Watchpoint: Grimsvotn, arrives with them. Season 5 also wraps The Reign of Talon, Overwatch’s first year-long story arc. The next Spotlight, covering 2027 plans, is set for February.

Warcraft III: a new campaign shipped today
Warcraft III: Reforged — Forsaken Kingdom is live. It is the first new campaign in more than 20 years, set around the fall of Lordaeron and the founding of the Undercity. The 3.0 update that comes with it also overhauls the visuals and World Editor. On Xbox, Reforged is on Game Pass; you only need the DLC for the new story.
World of Warcraft: Forever, plus The Last Titan in 2027
World of Warcraft: Forever is a third play path next to Modern and Classic, rooted in the Vanilla era. Blizzard is promising three new zones, more than 1,000 new quests, nine dungeons, two raids, and a new Skyborne race. Launch is November 4, 2026. Beta starts September 17 for anyone who pre-buys the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection. Separately, The Last Titan — the close of the Worldsoul Saga — is still aimed at 2027. The mid-saga patch, Eclipse (12.2), puts Xal’atath at Azeroth’s Worldsoul first.
