Halo 5 Guardians Leaked WarZone Menu & OST!

It’s hard to think of any console release set this year that are going to be bigger than the launch of Halo 5: Guardians. As a flagship Xbox franchise, this game is one of the most anticipated titles in quite some time. And a new leak has given us a sneak peek at a preview build that likely won’t change too much before launch day.

The Halo 5 beta has been finished for quite a while now, but it seems that updates are still being pushed to the game. The few that took this into account and saw this have been able to access that information in the hopes of bringing something interesting to light.

An amazing score has been some of the defining elements of previous Halo games, and continuing the tradition that Marty O’Donnell had started. This leak has made a fifteen minute sample of the Guardians OST available to everyone on the internet to enjoy.

This track by Halo 5 composer Kazuma Jinnouchi seems to be the music that all players will enjoy as they start the games menu up, based on the length given and the use of the series iconic main theme. It’s a fantastic Halo fare, and a good sign that Jinnouchi is ready to give the Halo community what they deserve in terms of a top class score for the game.

Other content has also leaked this weekend which pertained to the menu side of things for the recently detailed WarZone multiplayer mode, which is a first for Halo. Some screenshots of the menu shows exactly what we might be expecting for this brand new twist on the series multiplayer.

Spartan customization has long been a hallmark of Halo, with the emblems of Halo 2 and 3 to the Armor sets available to the player in Halo Reach and 4. The images only just add to that showing that there’s even more to change on your personal Spartan this time around.

From armor loadouts and emblems, now players will be able to choose from a assortment of weapon skins to further customize their Spartan. It’s worth noting that only UNSC weaponry is listed as having variant skins in the screenshots shown this weekend.

Expect to see Microsoft and 343 Industries shoot down leaked such as this ahead of the release of Halo 5. Players getting a sneak peak of the menus ahead of time is one thing, but you can be sure that all parties are set on keeping the rest of Halo 5’s intriguing gameplay under wraps until the game’s launch on October 27, 2015.
