PUBG reaches 70m lifetime sales

The battle royale titan & pioneer passes a major milestone less then 3 years after it’s official launch.

These are the latest figures reported by the PUBG Corporation, spanned across PC, Xbox, and Playstation.

PUBG had originally released into Early Access in March 2017, with a official launch out of Early Access later that year in December. Not before reaching a life time concurrent player count of 3.2 million players on just steam alone.

The last sales update was given by PUBG Corp, was in June 2018 only 6 months after the games release out of Early Access. By that point it had reached 50 million sales. At the time it was only available for PC/Xbox One. It launched on PS4 in December 2018.

PUBG is also currently available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, and was also given away to users who purchased a Stadia Pro. It was not made clear if those were included in the 70 million sales milestone.
